The influence of the price of petroleum in the investments
ITIPress.org - Marlon Jerez / Consultant in Economics and Financial Issues / Petroleum is one of the more important “fountains of energy” that exists today, and therefore, its price determines the diverse economies that do not count on this natural resource. The main effect of the maintained increase of prices of petroleum in the dependent economies is inflation; which is to say, the loss of the spending power (when all the products experience a maintained increase of prices). For example: if before one could buy 100 apples with US$20, with the effects of the inflation, now one would only be able to purchase 80 apples with the same US$20.

Savings: A fundamental variable for a stable Economy
ITIPress.org - Oscar Vanegas / Economist
The Economics of savings is a structural issue that has longed for years the understanding of a stable economic system. Thrift, as it was in the past, is not longer an essential virtue, neither in the developed world, nor for the developing economies. The OECD’s major economies are saving less than in the past two decades, Americans on average save less than 1% of their total earnings, disposable income is not longer invested in return-driven options, on the contrary, it is allocated in the conformation of a life-style of wealth and satisfaction.
Residence for investors who create employment
ITIPress.org - Flavio Alfie / Attorney specialized in Immigration Law, admitted to the Louisiana State Bar and Buenos Aires Bar Association. He is a partner at Alfie & Alfie, P.A Immigration and Consular Law Firm.

The Immigration and Nationality Act allows for conditional residency for persons who, after November 29, 1990, invest at risk or are actively in the process of investing at risk $ 1,000.000 (or in certain areas of US $ 500,000) in a new commercial enterprise that creates full-time employment for not less that ten U.S. workers and engage in the management of the business through day-to-day managerial control or policy formation.

ITIPress.org – Oscar Vanegas / Economista
